Welcome to MAWCA 2010, the Mid-Atlantic Writing Center Association's annual conference, hosted by the University of Delaware Writing Center, to be held on April 9-10, 2010, at Clayton Hall, Newark, DE. 

We invite you to participate in the sessions and workshops exploring this year’s conference theme: “Individuals Shaping Writing Centers--Writing Centers Shaping Individuals.” Our guest speaker will be Dr. Neal Lerner, Director of Training in Communication Instruction Program in Writing & Humanistic Studies, Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

In addition to a reception on Friday evening, this year will mark the first preconference workshop on Friday afternoon, both to be held at Clayton Hall.
